Welcome to the Electronic Field Trip "The Holocaust Museum Experience: Exploring Our Daily Decision-Making." This Electronic Field Trip challenges students to pull lessons for their own lives from the history of the Holocaust. What decisions were made throughout the 1930s and 1940s that led to the murder of over six million people? Do they face similar decisions in their daily lives? Do they have any responsibility for contemporary genocides, or are those issues too far away to relate to them? These are the questions we'd like your students to consider in the course of this field trip.
As an educator, you play a vital role in guiding your students through this field trip. On this site are all the resources you need: activities to use in the classroom, information on viewing the live broadcast, and even a discussion forum to talk with other teachers about how you're using these materials in your school.
This page should supply you with all the information you need for the field trip. If you're already familiar with the program and how to use these resources, go ahead and get started in the "Learning Activities" section. If you've never participated in the Electronic Field Trip program before, you might want to review the video setup section of this page.
