How do you bring the world's largest and most famous T. rex into your classroom? Teachers nationwide can turn students into dino experts and scientific investigators in The Field Museum's electronic field trip (e-field trip), The Sue Files.

The Sue Files featured a live, interactive broadcast and an accompanying online curriculum. The broadcast introduces students to Sue the T. rex and provides a guided journey into the life and times of this famous dinosaur.

Intended audience: The content is appropriate for grades K-8 but is focused on grades 4-8.

Students embark on the ultimate dino mystery in The Sue Files online curriculum. Using the scientific method and scientific tools, like cladistics, students determine whether Sue could have been the culprit in the case of the missing Museum scientist. Teachers can obtain FREE access to the online teacher resources by e-mailing fieldexpeditions@fieldmuseum.org.

The Apple Learning Interchange is pleased to provide webcasting support for The Field Museum in bringing you The Sue Files. Produced by WYCC TV-20 (PBS), The Sue Files is funded by the Illinois State Board of Education and is part of The Field Museum's Dino-mite Expeditions.
