Katherine McBride's third-grade students use technology to help their kindergarten buddies.

Our service-learning project is called Kindergarten Buddies. To make them feel more welcomed into our school community, kindergartners were paired up with third grade students. The older students used word processing, scanning, and digital photography to write ABC books about Center Woods for their "buddies." They also created welcome kits for the kindergartners.
