Interactive Video Conferencing
ALTEC and the School of Education at the University of Kansas want to help users implement and sustain the use of video conferencing in educational settings. This interactive environment provides an opportunity for virtual field observations, supervision of student teachers, peer mentoring, research methods and classroom collaborations. Through this exhibit, viewers will learn about the technical and equipment requirements necessary for the implementation of video conferencing.
eMINTS Enhances Missouri Classrooms
Classrooms throughout Missouri are being transformed into multimedia enriched learning centers through participation in the eMINTS - enhancing Missouri's Instructional Networked Teaching Strategies program. In this exhibit, we feature a 5th grade eMINTS classroom science lesson titled "The Food Chain". You will hear from students, teachers, and administrators about their experiences with the eMINTS program and get a first-hand look at the eMINTS classroom experience. Let the learning begin!

Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology (PT3)
Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology (PT3) awards grants to consortium partners who are working to transform teacher preparation programs. To meet the daunting challenge of transformation, PT3 grantees are developing models, tools, support and incentives to help faculty make the change to technology-infused teaching both within schools of education and throughout entire campuses.
SETDA - States Helping States
With the passage of NCLB, the State Education Technology Directors Association (SETDA), the principal association representing state directors for educational technology, has been working to provide assistance to states in implementing NCLB, particularly Title II, Part D, which outlines goals and objectives for effectively using education technology to improve student learning across the US.

This exhibit showcases the Kansas Academy for Leadership in Technology (KAL - Tech). The program is designed to address the major issues involved in creating and strengthening effective leadership for tomorrow's schools today. The Academy training addresses best practice and innovation in school planning and improvement efforts, enhancing learning and student achievement, and the integration and effective use of information technologies.
Who's Got the Right? Supreme Court in Review
The purpose of the Supreme Court in Review exhibit is to explore important issues of constitutional law in a fun and engaging way. The Review presents two or three recent U.S. Supreme Court cases of interest to students in a highly interactive style.
Rubrics: Out of the Wild and On with the Project
This Exhibit focuses on RubiStar, which is a free online tool that allows educators to create completely customizable rubrics in English and Spanish. This Exhibit also features lessons, opinions, and resources on how rubrics are being used by teachers, students, and administrators.
