Mrs. Nowack Introduces the Lesson to Her Class
In this section, Mrs. Nowack introduces the lesson to the class along with some helpful Web sites they can use to create their food chains. She also shows them an educational online video about food chains provided courtesy of the BrainPOP Web site.

Let's Get Started!
The students are going to put their food chains into an Excel spreadsheet complete with graphics. Here Mrs. Nowack helps them get started by demonstrating how to put graphics into their Excel files.
Teamwork is an important part of the eMINTS program. With two students to a computer it's important for both students to get a chance to navigate the mouse and use the computer. In this case, Mrs. Nowack refers to each team as a "driver" and a "passenger" and reminds them to work together. Their efforts to work as a team affect their grades on this project.
