eMINTS Enhances Missouri Classrooms

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The eMINTS professional development program is a two-year program. Teachers are asked to participate in 100 hours of technology training in the first year with frequent classroom visits and 75 hours in the second year with frequent classroom visits.

Non-eMINTS teachers have the opportunity to participate in Summer Samplers, which are intensive professional development training sessions provided by eMINTS Instructional Specialists who work with teachers in the eMINTS program. Teachers who wish to improve their knowledge of how to use technology to enhance inquiry-based learning in their classrooms are encouraged to attend these Summer Samplers.
