Teaching Practice A Seed By Any Other Name ... TECHNOLOGY
Students used pencils, crayons, rulers, magnifying glasses, journals, teacher-created information packets, calendars and library books throughout this unit. Many of the planting supplies came from an elementary science kit (FOSS Science). Posters showing plant growth stages and digital cameras helped them track progress. They became equally comfortable using the laptop or desktop computers, whether searching the Internet or drawing pictures. Final projects were proudly presented to peers and parents using an LCD projector.
