From ancient to modern times, people in all societies have told stories, often to explain events in nature, to teach the listeners a lesson, and to pass down values and lore from one generation to the next. The language and skill of the storyteller can make the story come to life in the imagination of the listener. Through this engaging activity, students improve their verbal, listening, and reading comprehension skills as they use digital video and iMovie to observe, refine, and enhance their storytelling skills.
